Frequently asked questions

Is merging PDFs on Quick Image free?

Yes. Merging is completely free with no watermark, no sign-up and no limit on the number of files.

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?

No. The PDFs are combined by JavaScript running in your browser, so the files never leave your device. This makes it safe for contracts, bank statements and certificates.

Does merging reduce PDF quality?

No. Pages are copied without re-compression, so text stays selectable and images keep their original quality. Bookmarks and fillable form fields may not carry over.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Encrypted PDFs cannot be merged. Remove the password in your PDF viewer first, then add the file again.

How do I change the page order before merging?

Drag files up or down in the list, or use the arrow buttons. The file at the top of the list becomes the first pages of the merged PDF.
